The cardiac rehabilitation staff assists patients in making long-term lifestyle changes that will protect and preserve the heart. This is achieved through the education of patients and their families and exercise to promote physical conditioning.
The cardiac rehabilitation program is recommended for patients with the following conditions:
- Angina Pectoris
- Previous Heart Attack
- Previous Open Heart Surgery
- Coronary Artery Disease
- Heart Failure
- Myocardial Infarction
